Description

DIE is an experimental album that has become a true phenomenon, voted "album of the year." Its success is driven by the atypical single Stormi, which fans have shared massively, creating a collective movement. This is IOSONOUNCANE's second album and it marks a decisive break in his career. After a first dense lo-fi electro record with political lyrics, the artist here moves towards a radically different sound and poetic universe. Musical influences range from Lucio Battisti to Animal Collective, including Italian progressive rock. The album, praised by critics, appears on all end-of-year lists for 2015 and continues to be widely circulated. Three tours follow: solo, in acoustic duo, and with the band Mandria. They travel all over Italy and then Europe, with sold-out concerts in Berlin, London, Paris, and at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in 2017.
