This second EP, Pharos, carries the lighter, pop, and melodic side of the project. With three new original compositions and two covers, the EP is imbued with a celebration of the rebellious spirit that drove him to make music 30 years ago. More than any artist from the early 90s Black metal scene, Ihsahn has established himself as an unpredictable rebel. Leader and composer with the legendary Emperor, he has rewritten the golden book of extreme and epic music with a series of albums still considered classics today. From In The Nightside Eclipse (1994) to the tour de force of Prometheus: The Discipline Of Fire & Demise (2001). With Ihsahn and his unique and liberated musical approach, he was sure not to disappoint his fans when he launched his solo career in 2006 with The Adversary.
