New album from the highly regarded Russian duo, recorded on a Norwegian island. Following the success of their two previous albums on Kscope, 'Belighted' and 'Lighthouse', the Russian duo, Gleb Kolyadin and Marjana Smekin, release a new studio film recorded in Giske, a beautiful Norwegian island. The footage offers a glimpse into the recording techniques of two of the most talented composers in modern progressive music. The video content also shows the live setup from the last three years, with the setlist made up of tracks from their first three studio albums and an acoustic recording of 'Blue Sea', the first track to be released on this new album and Blu-Ray disc. The studio on Giske Island was designed with panoramic windows allowing for stunning views of the island and the Norwegian Sea. For Marjana, this place is the most inspiring of locations to compose, surrounded by all the natural splendor of Norwegian nature. Ocean Sounds builds on the recent success of Kolyadin's first solo album on Kscope in Great Britain, voted Album of the Year at the Progressive Music Awards 2018. The audio recording, mixing, and mastering were done by Vlad Avy, familiar to the duo. The film was produced and edited by Miles Skarin. The stunning cover illustration was designed by Constantine Nagishkin.
