hHead (first H silent) gained local notoriety in the early 90s, at a time when unsigned bands could buy their cassettes and CDs at the HMV store at 333 Yonge Street and get their videos on MuchMusic's City Limits or have their songs played, or even charted, on CFNY 102.1. The support was real and the fans were numerous. hHead rode the alternative rock
grunge wave for a few years with a few albums that are undoubtedly from that era. Complete with sonic imperfections, flannel shirts, and bass guitars, these tracks represent an innocent time for capricious twenty-somethings trying to live out their rock'n'roll dreams. The band selected their favorite songs from their albums Jerk and Fireman. The album features double-sided A-side artwork and was remastered for vinyl by Noah Mintz of hHead at Lacquer Channel Mastering.
