Last February, GORDI unveiled her excellent cover of Courtney Barnett's "Avant Gardener," just before releasing her third single "Can We Work It Out." On May 13, her now numerous fans will finally have the chance to hear more of what the 22-year-old Australian has to offer, as her debut EP will be released and will be available for streaming on The Line of Best Fit, the famous webzine. Gordi also discusses each track on the EP in detail. Gordi got into music by taking piano lessons with her mother, then, like many of her idols, she picked up an acoustic guitar. The young Australian also writes, and her lyrics are full of emotion, oscillating between melancholy and cheerfulness. The candidness of her songs perfectly matches the softness and richness of her voice, which she sumptuously combines with classic guitar sounds and more modern electronic productions. With her wide sonic palette, Gordi's music is truly unique and personal.
