Alongside his dirty work for the late Slow Joe, Kid Victrola gathered men and women in a Breton manor, to try and unravel the mystery of pop music sung by girls. The experiment gave birth to Gloria, a three-headed hydra of female singers, feeding on fresh fuzz and bouquets of harmonies. A girl group chanting of love and loss, grappling Spector in a headlock, and inviting the Small Faces to play touchy-feely in the Garden of Eden.
