"After three years on tour, I got off the bus to compose and record a new album. These last concerts had radically changed my way of writing and playing music. I had only one idea in mind: to set off on an adventure with the band. For years, the studio and the stage had been two distinct worlds for me, making musical arrangements dedicated either to one or the other, more controlled in the studio, more energetic on stage. I decided to forget these habits to try to record this album in live conditions. I now have the deep conviction that the energy released by the band when we play together carries me and allows me to sing more intensely. In any case, ten times more motivated than alone behind a microphone! Why did I wait 20 years, you may ask? The weight of habit and probably some inhibitions. The fact is that we rehearsed a lot, had a lot of fun, and sweated a bit too. This album contains six tracks in English co-written with my English buddy Stephen Munson.
