Recorded in London in August 1973, Genesis’s fifth studio album, Selling England By The Pound, was released in October of that same year on Charisma Records. It reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 70 in the US. The single “I Know What I Like (In Your Armoire)” was released in February 1974 and became the band’s first top 30 hit in the UK. Although they had only finished their previous Foxtrot tour a few months earlier, following the release of the new album Genesis hit the road again in September 1973, starting in Europe, but crossing North America in early November, where they received an enthusiastic reception from fans. Generally regarded as one of the finest shows of the entire Selling.... tour, the concert they gave at the Felt Forum in New York on November 22, 1973, remains a fan favorite. Presented in full on this new two-part set, this magnificent performance is presented here on vinyl for the first time.
