Description

The new album from the great Los Angeles beatmaker Cosmogramma is the intersection at the post-hip-hop crossroads of two traditions of urban music, American and British, reflecting Brainfeeder, the collective of artists (musicians, graphic designers...) of which FlyLo is a cornerstone. The album is also the result of multiple collaborations: with bassist Stephen 'Thundercat' Brune, one of the pillars of Sa-Ra Creative Partners and the Young Jazz Giants. With the harp of Rebekah Raff, the voice of Laura Darlington, the tenor sax of Steven's cousin, jazz king Ravi Coltrane, and a certain Thom Yorke... Hip hop strings, Nintendo keyboards, ethereal voices, all at the heart of one of the most vibrant scenes, Los Angeles: the cosmic opera of master Steven Ellison!
