Flying Lotus returns with the release of his new EP, BIG MAMA, a treat for his fans. Described as explosive, esoteric, and totally unique, this project marks his first official release on his own Brainfeeder label, founded in Los Angeles almost twenty years ago and known for having supported artists such as Thundercat, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Kamasi Washington. Born Steven Ellison, Flying Lotus is a multi-GRAMMY-winning producer and artist, a major figure in contemporary experimental music, blending electronica, jazz, hip-hop, and psychedelia, following in the footsteps of his family heritage linked to Alice Coltrane. A collaborator with legends such as Kendrick Lamar, Thom Yorke, Solange, and Herbie Hancock, Flying Lotus announces with BIG MAMA the beginning of a new chapter on Brainfeeder, a prelude to many upcoming releases.
