During the 80s, Felt released ten albums and ten singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels.
These records have been remastered and revisited by Lawrence.
These new editions follow the elaborate campaign of CD and vinyl reissues and allow the most casual listener with limited storage space to explore the world of Lawrence and Felt.
Just like a Penguin paperback that updates its covers for each new generation of fans, these beautiful editions are, as always, designed by the Shanghai Packaging Company.
Mayo Thompson recorded and produced six tracks - two of them have been replaced - the remaining four songs have been reluctantly remixed by Robin Guthrie at the new Cocteau Twins studio.
Fast forward to last year and the return of the Felt archives:
- among the masters, the original mixes by Mayo Thompson have been revealed. We have restored 'She Lives By The Castle'
- one of the poetic epics around which the album revolves and here is finally the most satisfying version of a rather damaged and battered masterpiece.
