During the 80s, Felt released ten albums and ten singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels.
These records have been remastered and revisited by Lawrence.
These new editions follow the elaborate CD and vinyl reissue campaign and allow the most casual listener with limited storage space to explore the world of Lawrence and Felt.
Just like a Penguin paperback that updates its covers for each new generation of fans, these beautiful editions are, as always, designed by the Shanghai Packaging Company.
The original idea for Felt's last album was to engage Adrian Borland, who had almost produced the first. Adrian rehearsed with the band for a week, suggesting arrangements and familiarizing himself with the material.
Such enthusiasm from a producer was a first.
Felt, now a trio composed of Lawrence, Ainge, and Duffy, had moved to Brighton to join their label mates Primal Scream and Creation "President" Alan McGee. In fact, Robert Young from The Scream plays elegant bass throughout. However, Creation was unable to release the record before 1990, so Felt moved to the idiosyncratic to realize their dream of ten albums in ten years. Determination – Inspiration – Revelation.
