Tuff Enuff

Description

Produced by Dave Edmunds, this album allowed the band to reach a wider audience than their four previous commercial albums, notably thanks to the success of the single "Tuff Enuff", which reached number ten on the Billboard Top 100. This track appeared in the films "Gung Ho" and "Tough Guys", as well as the following single, "Wrap It Up". With Kim Wilson on vocals and harmonica, Jimmie Vaughan on guitar and Fran Christina on drums, this is the first studio album recorded with Preston Hubbard replacing Keith Ferguson on bass. Other guests on various tracks include Al Copley and Chuck Leavall on keyboards, Geraint Watkins on accordion, as well as Cesar Rosas and David Hidalgo on backing vocals. This edition is part of the eight (blue) vinyls planned for 2026, which bring together all of the band's studio recordings with Jimmie Vaughan on guitar before his departure for a solo career.
