Illustrated by Joann Sfar, the album covers trace the unique journey of the singer, songwriter, performer, and accomplished guitarist across four thematic discs. From heartbreak and displacement to the strong ties uniting France and the Mediterranean, each disc addresses the favorite themes of Enrico Macias's songs, sending a message of peace and universal love to all generations. The first volume, titled ‘L’amour’ (love, friendship, and brotherhood too), brings together a selection of his most beautiful songs, including ‘On s’embrasse et on oublie’, ‘Un berger vient de tomber’, and ‘Pour toutes ces raisons je t'aime’.
