Illustrated by Joann Sfar, the album covers trace the unique journey of the singer, songwriter, performer, and accomplished guitarist across four themed discs. From heartbreak and displacement to the strong ties uniting France and the Mediterranean, each one addresses the favorite themes of Enrico Macias's songs, sending a message of peace and universal love to all generations.
The second volume, titled La famille (et la transmission aussi) [Family (and Transmission Too)], brings together a selection of his most beautiful songs, including ‘Une fille à marier’ (A Daughter to Marry), ‘Le violon de mon père’ (My Father's Violin), and ‘Malheur à celui qui blesse un enfant’ (Woe to Him Who Harms a Child).
