The members of Endless Boogie never thought they would make it this far. In 2005, they had already been playing together for six years when Slint (a late 80s band, pioneers of post-rock) contacted them to perform on the stage of the British festival Tomorrow's Parties. Until then, the band had been content to rehearse once a week and play in a few small New York venues. Realizing they would need something to sell at this festival - their first international date - the two members decided to compile a few tracks recorded during their rehearsal sessions and have them pressed: the story of Endless Boogie officially began. The records (often referred to as "black" and "white") have long been selling for a fortune on resale sites. They are now being reissued in double CD and double vinyl formats.
