Czech pioneer Emika (aka Ema Jolly) is establishing herself as a rising star in avant-garde neo-classical electronica. Currently based in Berlin, the producer is preparing to release Dilo Variations - a darker work than ever, but still imbued with the elegance that characterizes each of her creations. The Dilo Variations EP (previously unreleased on vinyl) was featured as part of Emika Records' five-year anniversary releases in spring 2020. 10" vinyl with new artwork just for this release. Completes Emika's Klavirni "Dilo" solo piano vinyl series. Following the very popular Klavirni, Emika's first solo piano album in 2015 (EMK 001CD/LP). A truly personal affair, all Dilo were recordings of improvisations by the composer on her home piano in Berlin. This release marks five years of Emika Records, celebrating five years of independence since their first two albums with Ninja Tune.
