DRALMS is the latest project from songwriter Christopher Smith, which he is pursuing with his long-time collaborators ShaunnWatt, William Kendrick and Peter Carruthers. With this single, they deliver a much darker and more complex sound than Smith's solo work. "Crushed Pleats" immerses us in a rather dark atmosphere with its deep bass, while "Divisions Of Labour" offers lyrics with socio-political implications. The whole piece is a concentration of DRALMS' universe, allowing us to glimpse their devouring instrumental accumulations with electronic textures and cavernous bass.
