Somewhere in the Cincinnati hills, a transmitter beams radio waves in all directions. Electricity flows through the air and strikes your receiver with a charge that, once amplified, produces an organic sound that could only be… Doctor Bionic. They are back with a brand new album, the fourth installment in the Terrestrial Radio series, titled Electric Pollen. Like the previous ones, the album was recorded, produced, and mixed by Cincinnati-based producer Grimez. He enlists a team of talented musicians to record instrumentals that could be described as organic grooves. Fans of the project will recognize many familiar names in the liner notes. Although the recording sessions are informal and spontaneous, each D.B. album revolves around a conceptual theme. This theme is often inspired by a work of art that resonates with Grimez, who purchases or acquires the rights to an artwork he likes, to set it to music. This process is one of the particularities that distinguish Doctor Bionic's music from that of other instrumental producers. You are listening to Terrestrial Radio… Live with Doctor Bionic.
