*Era* is the fourth album from the powerful Chicago-based quartet Disappears. This new album reveals the band's greater enthusiasm for dub, minimalism, and repetition, in a more original and darker form than before. It takes us back to the post-punk period of the early 80s when, with a two-guitar, one-bass, and one-drum setup, almost anything was possible, and everything was about expansion and exploration.
