Recorded last year at Damon Albarn's London studio, ''Everyday Robots'' is produced by Richard Russell (XL Recordings), co-producer with the singer of Bobby Womack's last album, and features notable guests such as Brian Eno and Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes). This new album is a true intimate encounter with the artist, a narrative story inspired by his youth, but also reflecting on human relationships, our relationship with technology, and the uncertainties of the modern world that surrounds us. With these new songs, he signs his most autobiographical work since the beginning of the musical journey that is the career of this jack-of-all-trades: from Blur to Gorillaz, including The Good, The Bad, The Queen, Monkey: Journey To The West, Dr Dee, or even Africa Express.
