SECOND TIME ROUND
Description
CYMANDE released four albums between 1972 and 1981. The group is made up of eight members, all originally from the West Indies (Jamaica and Guyana). They produce music that is a blend of funk, calypso, rhythm'n'blues, soul and reggae. Their compositions are strongly inspired by the Rastafari religion. Their most famous tracks are Bra, a dancefloor classic, The Message and Brothers on the slide. Their music was generously sampled by a good number of hip-hop producers in the 1990s. TheMessage was notably used by Mc Solaar on the track Bouge de là and Masta ace on Me & The Biz, as well as by Ruthless Rap Assassins on And It Wasn't A Dream. Remastered reissue of the 2nd album released in 1973. With 2 bonus tracks.Buy SECOND TIME AROUND at the best price
