Most of the artists featured are based in Europe: Krikor, Dissemblance and VQOA from France, De Ambassade from the Netherlands, Moisture from Sweden, Kreidler from Germany, Céline Gillain and Carcass Identity from Belgium. One exception is FIT Siegel, from Detroit, who connects Europe's electronic avenues to the Motor City. They have created new electronic musical landscapes while pursuing a D-I-Y aesthetic, releasing tracks on cassette and pioneering the use of lo-fi technology, primitive drum machines and "At home" recording techniques. Many continue to produce, run labels, publish fanzines or are part of larger music collectives. Their main influences are No-Wave and Post-Punk with artists like Suicide, Patrick Cowley, The Normal, Martin Hannett, Laurie Anderson, Public Image.
