Speakeasy

Description

For fifteen years, Cléa Vincent has brought a childlike, luminous energy to the French independent pop scene. From small Parisian bars to the Bataclan, she has established herself with spontaneous, open music, nourished by varied collaborations and a marked taste for sharing. Heavily influenced by 80s Francophone pop but always rooted in her time, she enriches her universe through her travels, notably in South America, which inspired her series of EPs, Tropi-Cléa.Throughout her career, Cléa has claimed total freedom, both in her artistic choices and in the way she runs her projects. After her album Advitam Æternamour, she felt the need for a pause. Speakeasy was thus born as a minimalist record, composed of six pieces for piano without words, a return to her first instrument. Her sensitivity can be found in the watermark: liquid, delicate melodies, as if suspended above the tumult of everyday life.Conceived while she was expecting a child, the album carries a serene gentleness, a form of wonder that accompanies this new stage of her life.
