Confession is an album of subtle upheaval, centered on intimacy, desire, and unexpected emotions. Carla dal Forno takes a more personal approach, abandoning abstraction for direct emotional sincerity. Written over several years in a small town and recorded in a partially abandoned former hospital, it is steeped in a calm, intimate, and introspective atmosphere.
