A true sound artisan, a jack-of-all-trades and always on the move, Carla dal Forno surprises. Unclassifiable, her music sits at the intersection of darkwave, ambient, pop, lo-fi, and synth. After Mole House, a very DIY first band, she founded the trio F Ingers in Melbourne and signed with the label Blackest Ever Black, before moving to Berlin where she took her first steps solo. With a strong classical background, with the piano as her preferred instrument, Carla masters software and analog synthesizers through which she brings her haunted melodies to life, layering her haunting voice, used as an instrument. Carla dal Forno resurfaces with her third album, "Come Around," via her own label Kallista Records. After a decade of moving, recording, and touring in Berlin and London, "Come Around" embodies a new solitude born from elemental pop hooks and insightful writing.
