At the time, SAM BEAM (IRON AND WINE) was one of the greatest hopes of americana with two remarkable albums. JOEY BURNS and JOHN CONVERTINO of CALEXICO were the band that had been touring for over 10 years, mixing country folk and South American music for the first time. 15 years have now passed, the two groups have drifted apart while remaining close.
