The Chicago band Bursting counts among its members members of Thou, Yautja, Coliseum, Stress Positions and As Hell, but their sound moves away from the metal/hardcore/punk roots of those groups to offer a melodic and angular post-hardcore, in the style of the late 90s, in the manner of Drive Like Jehu, Jawbox, Shiner, Hot Snakes and Pinback.
