The Swedish dandy returns with a new vinyl EP. A more polished production, always dark themes, from the epic "Spiritual" to the magnificent duet ballad "Day/Night". An intense, dark and beautiful record. 7 tracks that will be performed live during the Les Nuits de L'Alligator festival. This EP, titled And the Great Unknown, part 1, will be followed by an LP in the spring, And The Great Unknown, part 2. Bror Gunnar Jansson takes us into the great unknown with the greatest talent. Bror Gunnar Jansson's repertoire explores gospel, the blues of Lightnin Hopkins (Spiritual). But the man also plays on our heartstrings with beautiful ballads (the duet Day/Night with Emma Augustsson, cellist on the track "New Mountain Ballad" (album Moan Snake Moan)). Inspired by Jazz and the world of Tom Waits, Bror's (Swedish for "brother") Gunnar Jansson's universe is eclectic, sometimes experimental (the interludes on this EP). The multi-instrumentalist from Gothenburg possesses a distinctive personality, a soulful voice, and a poignant intensity.
