At the helm of the Brain Damage project since 1999, and with a rich discography of over 10 albums, Martin Nathan has already explored many facets of his preferred style, dub. After helping to lay its foundations in France, he has continually participated in its evolution by offering versions that are by turns urban, atmospheric, experimental, and more recently much closer to certain models developed in the United Kingdom. This time, he traveled to Kingston, Jamaica, to record the main part of this new album, with the idea of delving deeper into the origins of the style with legendary artists for unforgettable studio sessions.
