"Building Babylon at the Bayou" presents some of the very first live performances of Bad Brains, recorded before the release of their self-titled debut album in 1982. Recorded in 1980 and 1981 at the Bayou in Washington, D.C., these performances offer a glimpse into the band's early days, between the unofficial ban on performing in the capital and their move to New York. This is the first non-jazz release from the brand new label Time Traveler Recordings.
