The rising duo ascendant vierge presents its first album Une Nouvelle Chance. Continuing its blend of pop with lyrical accents and electronic music, the duo confirms its singularity on this 14-track album (including 2 bonus tracks), whose universe offers a complete experience, both sonic and visual and conceptual. With this project, ascendant vierge continues its sonic exploration by revisiting different styles from the 90s, transcending the hard techno label to explore different variations of electronic music (trance, eurodance, happy hardcore, EDM, and even downtempo ballads). Mathilde Fernandez’s powerful vocals and poetic lyrics elevate the instrumentals. Appearing on the album cover as survivors of an airplane crash that could well be a metaphor for our times, ascendant vierge invites us to approach their first album as Une Nouvelle Chance. The release of this first album will launch the duo’s international tour with more than 50 dates in France, Europe, and America. Who is ascendant vierge? Born from the musical meeting between singer Mathilde Fernandez and producer Paul Seul, ascendant vierge was formed in 2019. When the world plunged into the pandemic in 2020, their first single Influenceur also went viral, racking up streams and spreading around the world.
