The project of the brother of one of the guitarists from Volage, Anna will release his 3rd album in February under the Howlin' Banana and Un Je Ne Sais Quoi banners. Through a totally DIY process, which is the very definition of bedroom pop, frontman Martin indulged in acoustic experimentation and composition with a certain poetry in his room. "Sometimes edgy garage, sometimes melodic folk, his work is always guided by Anna's voice, filtered through a sieve of distortions" (Gonzai). A sort of chimera between a Mac Demarco, Connan Mockasin, and LA Priest that would have been recorded on a slow-played vinyl, May will delight fans of weirdo psychedelic pop.
