Description

Angele was born in France to Andalusian parents. It is therefore natural that as a child, she began to sing her first notes in Spanish. Carlos Gardel, Celia Cruz, and Mercedes Sosa were her first guides. At nine years old, she arrived in the Hautes-Pyrénées, where she discovered French chanson through Brel, Brassens, and Piaf. As a somewhat rebellious teenager, she indulged in rock (Iggy Pop, Patti Smith...) without abandoning her mixed first loves and made her public debut. Year after year, through various encounters, she discovered great names such as Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, Creedence, Prince, and Otis Redding... This was followed by various vocal training efforts without ever leaving the stage, her true school. All these influences can be found in Angele's voice and singing. Album's
