In addition, Alan was awarded the OBE (Order Of The British Empire) at the Queen's birthday ceremony in June 2021. A British monument! As a reminder, Alan Parsons' career began at the age of 18, and he received his first credit on The Beatles' album “Abbey Road.” He quickly became a highly respected studio engineer, working for Paul McCartney, John Miles, The Hollies, Al Stewart, and Pink Floyd, among others. He is particularly renowned for his work on Pink Floyd's masterpiece “The Dark Side of The Moon.” Since then, Alan has released four albums under his own name. In 1994, he began touring regularly under the name The Alan Parsons Live Project, which continues to this day.
