Bring On The Apathy/Green Vinyl

Description

Fika Recordings is proud to present “Bring On The Apathy”, the third solo album by Scottish singer-songwriter Adam Ross, available on May 22, 2026. Recorded to tape using traditional analog techniques at Green Door Studio in Glasgow with Samuel J. Smith, this album reveals songs of remarkable sincerity, finesse, and rare personality, written by one of Scotland’s most accomplished songwriters. This vintage recording approach gives the album a unique warmth and intimacy, making it both raw and organic, beautifully arranged and performed thanks to the presence of a host of excellent collaborators. The core band features Owen Curtis-Williams on drums, Cameron Maxwell on bass, Pedro Cameron on violin, Gillian Fleetwood on harp, and Pete MacDonald (a longtime collaborator of Randolph's Leap) on piano. Mercury Prize-nominated artist C Duncan was brought in to write and perform the backing vocals with Amanda Nizich and Gillian Fleetwood.
