About

Ten vinyl albums spanning black, death, and heavy metal — multiple pressings tracked live.

Soilwork started as Inferior Breed before adopting their current name in 1996. Their early lineup included Bjorn Strid on vocals and Peter Wichers on guitar. After releasing a demo and the debut album Steelbath Suicide (1998) on Listenable Records, they signed with Nuclear Blast in the early 2000s. Subsequent albums such as A Predator's Portrait (2001) and Natural Born Chaos (2002) showcased their mix of melodic and aggressive metal elements. The band's evolving lineup included influential members like drummer Dirk Verbeuren and keyboardist Sven Karlsson. Soilwork's discography also features live recordings and special vinyl pressings, with many releases available in limited editions and colored vinyl.
