About

13 vinyl albums, key pressings on Warner Bros. and Universal; originals like 2011's Collapse Into Now attract collectors.

R.E.M. emerged from the Athens music scene at the University of Georgia in 1980, made up of Michael Stipe (vocals), Peter Buck (guitar), Mike Mills (bass), and Bill Berry (drums). They built a reputation in the 1980s as one of the first alternative rock bands to gain widespread attention, combining jangly arpeggiated guitars and introspective songwriting. Throughout their three decades of activity, they released a steady catalog of vinyl albums on labels such as Warner Bros. and Universal Music, spanning genres from rock indie to pop.

Their discography includes pressings across the US and Europe with landmark records like 2011's Collapse Into Now on LP and notable reissues of key 80s and 90s albums. R.E.M.
