About

More than 20 vinyl releases with choice pressings, including 2018's Queen Of Time and upcoming 2025 Borderland.

Originating from Helsinki, Finland, in 1990, Amorphis initially explored death/doom metal with gothic nuances. Over decades, they blended heavy riffs with melodic and folk elements, frequently drawing on Finnish mythology such as the Kalevala for lyrical themes. Notable phases include the progression from guttural vocals early on to partial reintegration in 2006 after a spell of clean singing. Their substantial discography includes studio albums, live records, and EPs, released primarily on labels like Relapse Records and Nuclear Blast, now reaching worldwide audiences via new labels.

Vinyl collectors can find a broad range of Amorphis records, from early black metal classics to recent progressive and folk-oriented releases.
