A record that is at once glam, garage, energetic and touching. A perfect Rock & Roll record. In their 10-year career, WHITE DENIM have made a name for themselves with their mutant and adventurous rock, drawing from 50s Rock, garage, psychedelic rock, Jazz or soul. They cite both CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and SUN RA. The Texans manage the feat of multiplying influences to write their own version of Rock & Roll that would make JACK WHITE or THE BLACK KEYS jealous. Their success in the United States and across the Channel is only fair: KEVIN PARKER of TAME IMPALA is a fan (see Tame Impala's live album, Kevin Parker masterfully compliments the band), as is JACK WHITE, who released a live album by the band on his label (THIRD MAN RECORDS) here, or FLAMING LIPS, who invited them on their tour.
