Released in 1971, Aqualung is not only one of the flagship albums of Jethro Tull, but also a milestone in the history of Progressive Rock (the famous tracks Crossed-Eyed Mary, Locomotive Breath, and Wind-up). A year before this sumptuous masterpiece, Ian Anderson and his musicians had already distinguished themselves from Blues with Benefit, the first album to define their historic sound (To Cry You a Song, With You There to Help Me, Nothing to Say). Taken from the collector editions of 2011 and 2013, these standard CD versions are an opportunity for newcomers to discover the fantastic mixes created at the beginning of the decade by Steven Wilson. A sound treatment praised by fans.
