About
The Who, London's powerhouse rockers shaping art rock and mod culture since 1964.
The Who emerged from London's vibrant 1960s music scene with a lineup including Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon. Initially rooted in maximum rhythm and blues and British invasion pop, the band evolved towards ambitious concept albums and rock operas such as Tommy and Quadrophenia. Their music intricately blends aggressive rock, experimental sounds, and melodic songwriting, influencing generations of rock musicians.
The group's extensive vinyl catalog reflects their evolution from explosive rock singles to expansive live recordings and art rock masterpieces.
