Cabaret Voltaire brings to light one of its most emblematic albums. Cabaret Voltaire honors Code, its eighth studio album, a pivotal work that marks a major turning point in the history of the band. Co-produced with dub master Adrian Sherwood, this record blends synth pop, mechanical funk, dub, and electronic experiments in a formula that will become the biggest commercial success of the band. An essential figure of the British electronic avant-garde, Cabaret Voltaire confirms with Code its decisive influence on electronic music, from techno to house. This reissue offers the opportunity to rediscover a visionary classic, still as modern nearly forty years after its release.
