As essential pioneers of British electronic music, Chase & Status are a legendary duo of producers and DJs, famous for popularizing Drum & Bass on a global scale. Their album "Generic Everything" aims to be an act of resistance. In a world shaped by AI, algorithms, and an unending stream of content, creativity is constantly pushed towards what is familiar, comforting, and predictable. The cube is the symbol of this pressure; a place where original ideas are compressed to fit the same mold. Each track, each visual, and each concert from this album is an attempt to escape the cube and create something profoundly different.
