La Terre. L'Eau. L'Air. Le Feu. And life that springs forth at the whim of the friction between these different elements. It has always been the same for the music of Zenzile, which has constantly reinvented itself for twenty years by differently dosing its four main ingredients with each new album: dub, post-punk, psychedelia, and pop. This sixth album does not deviate from the rule, even if it explores more than ever the pop side of the Angers' universe. Perhaps partly due to the arrival of a new voice on this project in the person of Zakia Gallard, a young singer with a soulful tone. Perhaps also because Zenzile wanted to return to record at the famous Black Bux studio under live conditions. This is perfectly heard on "Outsight," the impeccable first single from this album. Among the other pleasant surprises of this Elements are at least two huge hedonistic hits, the very pop new wave "Escape" sung in two voices and the dub disco "Presence." We have here two future classics of the group!
