After three years away from everything, close to himself, Zed Yun Pavarotti returns with "Unmiracle," his third album, set for release in November 2026. Charlan Zouaoui-Peyrot, known as Zed Yun Pavarotti, continues to showcase his evolution while revisiting his favorite themes: the urgency of transcendence, meaning, crushed between the sublime and the grotesque (his face tattoos), the absurdity of life (his plastic hand), the ultimate answer that is suicide in all its forms, whether quick or slow, disguised or bare, modest or exhibitionist, and, in the end, love that smooths out all the crevices and obstacles. Among the standout tracks on the album is the first single "Si Dieu fume," a Strokes-like hit driven by a mystical chorus and raw tension reminiscent of Fontaines D.C., as well as "Sous ma veste," a prayer to oneself that becomes a party anthem. And then, above all, "Quand est-ce qu’on oublie qu’on aime," a melancholic pop ballad featuring the unpredictable and talented Marguerite Thiam. "Paroxétine" picks up the pace and spirit of his previous album "Beauseigne," a fresh nod to his roots. Finally, "Sorry," a monstrous nursery rhyme, to be sung tenderly before the end of the world. The album is a colorful festival of melodies, straddling Woodstock and Coachella, between Neil Young, Wet Leg, the Who, or, more surprisingly, at the other end of the spectrum, a hit machine like Dua Lipa, with choruses that stick in your mind immediately after hearing them. In short, Zed Yun Pavarotti: an artist who does not apologize for being himself.
