The video for "Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood," directed by longtime collaborator Cody Critcheloe (who recently helmed the Grammy-nominated Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ "Spitting Off The Edge of The World" video), also spotlights Yves' band, whose raucous performances have drawn a cavalcade of critical raves from The New Yorker, NYLON, Stereogum, The Guardian and many others. “Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood” is produced by Noah Goldstein (Frank Ocean, Rosalia, Rihanna, Bon Iver) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails), who brings a punchy clarity to the album’s intoxicating blend of addictive melodies and adventurous arrangements. The single was also co-produced by Yves Rothman (Girlpool, Amaarae), with a gorgeous live choral arrangement and instrumental contributions from band member Chris Greatti, as well as Dylan Wiggins (Rosalia, Vince Staples) and Lemar Carter (Solange, Demi Lovato).
