Saitte Mitä Halusitte is the new 9-track mini-album by the Finnish band Yleiset Syyt, originally from Helsinki. If you enjoyed the compilation Toisten Todellisuus (2022), also released in collaboration with La Vida Es Un Mus and Sorry State, you will be delighted to learn that Yleiset Syyt still masters the art of finding that very particular hardcore sound of the 80s, evoking a time when the genre's aggression was at its peak, while retaining the pop architecture characteristic of late 70s punk. Simply put, these are catchy melodies, and Yleiset Syyt is full of them. Listen to the truly iconic riffs of "Geenipoolin Pohjimmainen" or the title track, "Saitte Mitä Halusitte".
