yeule, also known as Nat Cmiel, is a non-binary multidisciplinary cyborg artist from Singapore. Their album Glitch Princess opens a channel to liminal spaces: error messages and corrupted code on which soothing non-melodies comfortably rest among the jagged edges of feedback loops. Nat's experiences with sobriety have unleashed a torrent of emotions, and Glitch Princess is a pure extract of that deluge. Video game soundtracks, experimental shoegaze sounds, and ethereal whispers come together to build an underground world, with an erratic dance beat occasionally guiding us deeper into this feverish dream. yeule invites transcendence in a post-human world where expression is no longer tied to identity, but where we are free to assemble according to our affinities.
