AN UNFORGETTABLE AND HISTORIC NIGHT OF BRITISH ROCK - RECORDED LIVE AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL IN LAS VEGAS.Recorded live at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in July 2019, “A Royal Affair Tour” was a fabulous rock show. The band Yes comprised Steve Howe (guitars), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals), and Billy Sherwood (guitars/keyboards), with Jay Schellen on drums. All YES concert tours are special events for their legions of fans, and “The Royal Affair Tour” was no exception, conceived as a wonderful celebration of the best of British progressive music. Guests on the tour included Asia (featuring Yes keyboardist Geoff Downes and a special appearance by Steve Howe), John Lodge of the Moody Blues, and Carl Palmer of ELP and Arthur Brown.The show features many classics from the 1970-1980 period, starting with Richie Havens’ "No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed", followed by "Tempus Fugit", then "Going For The One", "I've Seen All Good People", and "Siberian Khatru". Also included are covers of Paul Simon’s "America" and John Lennon’s "Imagine". The album cover features brand new artwork by Roger Dean, legendary artist and long-time Yes collaborator.
